Read 'Em and Weep
John Stravinsky - 2004

Rating: 3 (Good)

Read ’Em and Weep is a collection of short stories or segments of works, about poker, from various authors. There are excerpts from famous poker writers like Anthony Holden and Al Alverez, and also from literary greats like Stephen Crane and Mark Twain.

Some of the stories are specifically about poker, others happen to have poker as a backdrop. All in all, it was a good book, but not every story was as good as the rest. It is interesting to see how poker has had an influence over such a wide of portion society.
