This little trick combines toss juggling with contact juggling. Contact juggling is a form of object manipulation where the ball never leaves contact with your body. For more information on contact juggling, check out ContactJuggling.org.
Instructions:
First you must be able to do the contact juggling portion (without the juggling). The contact move used here is the basic Butterfly. This is where you transition the ball from the front of your hand, over your finger tips, to the back of your hand. You'll need to practice this a lot before you'll be able to add it to a juggling pattern.

Once you've got the basic Butterfly contact juggling move down, you just need to add it to your juggling pattern. While you're juggling a basic cascade pattern, just take one of the balls out and do the butterfly move, while juggling two-in-one hand with the other hand. When you complete the Butterfly motion, use the back of your hand to throw that ball back into the pattern.
Practice it until you can get the timing down good, so that it looks like the ball flows right back into the pattern, without changing the timing of the rest of the juggling.
