This is the coolest looking trick (to me). It is probably the easiest one to pick up, but the hardest one to make it look good.
- Start with a single chip held between your thumb and the side of your index finger.
- The chip will be rolled along your fingers between the 2nd and 3rd knuckles of each finger (same place you would wear brass knuckles).
- Use your thumb to push the chip up on top of your index finger. At the same time, lift up your ring finger to meet the edge of the chip.
- Put your ring finger on top of the edge of the chip, and push down on it with your ring finger. At the same time, push up with your index finger to get it to flip over.
- Now do the same thing with your ring finger. Make sure to use the previous finger to push up as the receiving finger is pushing down.
- When you get the chip on top of the ring finger, let it slide down between your ring finger and your pinky.
- Bring your thumb underneath all your fingers, to pick up the chip.
- Use your thumb to drag the chip back underneath the fingers, the whole way pushing it up against your fingers, with your thumb.
- Bring the chip back up to the original position, and go again.
There’s actually several different endings for this trick.
You can let the chip continue on over your pinky, onto your other hand, and continually alternating hands, so the chip never stops rolling.
You can also roll the chip back to the original starting position, by just reversing the order of the trick once it gets to your pinky.
